The Campaign Leadership Academy is a specialized six-week virtual program training the next generation of climate leaders to plan and put in motion campaigns advocating for urgent and practical solutions to the climate crisis in their communities. These include reducing emissions, calling out greenwashing, financing a just transition, and strengthening international cooperation on climate
Join us to level up your campaigning expertise through a series of skill-building workshops, receive individualized coaching from the Climate Reality team, and gain access to unique resources to assist with campaign development and implementation.
Who should apply?
The Campaign Leadership Academy is open to trained Climate Reality Leaders and Climate Reality chapter members in the United States between the ages of 13 and 30 interested in strengthening their campaign skills to create change towards climate justice in their communities.
Individuals and groups of up to four peers from the same school, chapter, or community are eligible to apply. Only one member of a group must be a trained Climate Reality Leader. Each person applying with a group must submit their own application.

Skill-Building Curriculum
Learn directly from Climate Reality’s network of climate solutions and organizing experts to deepen your climate knowledge and apply your advocacy skills to make change in your community.
Community
Join a cohort of like-minded young people ready to take on their communities’ most pressing climate challenges. New and experienced community leaders alike will build connections and work together to hold decision-makers accountable.
Hands-On Mentorship
Receive individualized coaching from Climate Reality staff and our nation-wide chapters network. From brainstorming and researching your campaign ideas to planning and taking action, we’ll support you in sharpening your strengths and growing your leadership.
Organizational Support
Gain access to a toolkit and exclusive library of resources to support your organizing. At the end of the program, select campaign plans will also be chosen to receive additional support from Climate Reality for up to one year.

How We Get to True Net Zero
We train and mobilize people worldwide with four global campaigns to accelerate climate action this decade and help us reach true net zero by 2050 – the point where global warming can stop in as little as three-to-five years and the Earth begins to heal.
Why net zero? Because true net zero is the planet's emergency brake on warming – to keep warming in check, the vast majority of emissions from all sectors have to get as close to zero emissions as possible.
How bad the climate crisis gets – and the kind of tomorrow we give future generations – depends on how much warming we allow to happen. It may not be perfect, but it means our future is in our hands.
The good news is that for many sectors the technologies already exists to lower emissions. Creating projects and advocating for just solutions addressing these global impact areas will help us move towards a true net zero future.
